This album is the musical equivalent of those awkward early teen years where a kid is finding his musical identity. We had no idea the things we wanted to create yet, but we were young. We were broke. In the studio, we kind of looked like monkeys learning to use tools for the first time. We made a bunch of loud and often incoherent noises, burned them to a stack of cds, and went on a self funded, 50 date tour of the continental US in a 1987 Chevy Suburban.

These are those loud and often incoherent noises.
