After a 6 year hiatus, founding members Joe Granato and Jeff Conner reunited to subvert the expectations of the remaining half dozen Eat Your Neighbors fans by putting out an album of veritable ballads. The concept was for this to be the first in a string of thematic, unreleased material that had been written since the band's inception, but hadn't exactly fit on any of the albums. This is the only collection of said unreleased material that ever made it to tape. For those hoping to enjoy the softer side of the apocalypse, this one's for you.

Sonically, the band skated the delicate border where good musical sense meets untethered expression. Drawing on influences such as The Toadies, Barkmarket and NoMeansNo, their sound ranges from unique yet familiar to bizarre and quirky. They have a tendency to skew things just left of center.
